I learned to sew from my parents when I was 8 years old. I started out making Barbie doll clothing and graduated to prom dresses by the time I was in high school.
Ever since I realized my talent, the idea of pursuing was but a dream. Then, in 2008, my good friend Matt, who was spirited and passionate about life, lost his battle with cancer. He was a great inspiration to me. After his passing, I decided it was time to pursue my passion in earnest!
kiu Designs was born in 2009 and has evolved into what is now a fun and beautiful line of custom handbags.
